Life’s a rollercoaster

I know I haven’t updated for quite some time now, but things have been happening like crazy these past few weeks. I’ve finally come to the conclusion that I’m either going to be having an idle period of not much happening, or one of those hectic/crazy-all-happening-simultaneously moments that don’t leave any space to breathe (not even to blog).
Well I’ve been having the latter going for me right now.
And whether those moments are good or bad is not really the issue. Ups and downs are unavoidable at times like this. Something like a rollercoaster ride that lifts you, spins you and eventually takes you down, and back up again and so on…
Nevertheless, I’m on the ride now and I’m hanging tight while trying to make the best of it.
To be continued…

Every cloud has a "Silver" lining

Silver for Greece after a not so breathtaking match. Our heroes weren't in their top form today but nevertheless, what they've accomplished in this tournament cannot go unnoticed!
Our heroes, and that's what I'm going to be calling them from now on when I'm referring to the Greek National basketball team, have not only brought us moments of glory and pride but they have also achieved to fly us to the clouds.
Living proof of how an ensemble of humans can work wonders when they're united and dedicated.
Thank you for flying us and thank you for reminding us of what we're all capable of, no matter what our dream is.
This silver lining shines bright upon us.

Hellas on top!!!!

I still haven't had the chance to catch my breath after today's game..
Having survided thousands of heartattacks and severe strokes during the course of this game, I have finally put myself together to come and post.
What I'm trying to say in only a few simple words is : HURRAY FOR HELLAS!!! Congratulations to our National team for making us all so proud! Regardless of the final result on Sunday's finals, you guys are winners! Champions in spirit, mind and body like our ancestors would say. A worthy win!!!
I'm so overwhelmed that I can't even concentrate in writing right now :)
And as I focus on Sundays game, all I have to say is : may the best team win!

I will not put a caption on this picture as the post's title says it all. After all they do say that images speak louder than words ;)
